About

After spending 30 years fighting her hair’s own desire to knot up in and over itself, Cee finally installed her first set of dreads herself (with the help of her extremely patient husband). She loved them and kindly refers to them as a “learning experience.” One of her first dreads holds a spot of honor in their curio cabinet (in the back, though, where her cats can’t play with it). She was hooked, and has since installed her second, perfectly imperfect, healthy set of dreads.

Cee’s learned all together too much for one woman about dreadlock installation on different kinds of hair, maintenance, care, and history. She uses all this knowledge–gained from tons of research, good advice from other dreadies, hands-on experience, and two trips to Jamaica–in everything she does for Seattle Dreads, the Rat City’s mobile dreadlock salon and information source. All Seattle Dreads locticians are trained by Cee herself, and strive to give you lock-star dreads.

Howdy girls, nice to meet you, we are always looking for dread sistas in different locations, as many of our clients travel. Please have a look at our site and natural products, everything we make is certified organic and contains no wax. If you are interested in placing an order with us, then please ask for our wholesale prices. Certianly our clients, should they be over there will want to have a dread house they can trust to maintain there dreads and equally dread product that is certified.
